Kwanza Msingwana is an eclectic artist - writer, actor and storyteller. Since Moving to Toronto in 1986 he has performed widely in Canada and the U.S as well as in the Caribbean. He has participated in WOMAD, toured across Canada with Radio Nomad and the Donne Roberts Band. He has also performed with David Robeson; the New York based grandson of Paul Robeson, the celebrated African American baritone, actor, and human rights activist. Another passion of Kwanza's is collecting folktales for children, and he is currently working on a book of short stories based on his travels and life experiences.
