Debbie began her formal dance training in 1997 as a performing apprentice with COBA. Since then, she has grown artistically by acting in various professional theatre productions in Toronto. In 2006, she played the lead in her first film as Harriet Tubman, in Seth Adrian Harris' "When Moses Woke".

In addition to exploring herself creatively as a dancer, actor, singer and songwriter, Debbie is also a Registered Massage Therapist, Massage Therapy Educator and contracted artist with the Royal Conservatory of Music's Learning Through The Arts Program.

Dance is a form of prayer to Debbie, she looks forward to deepening her prayer life!!!
